The next ‘DenkWerkStadt’ event is on 24 January 2019 (News)
The idea for ‘DenkWerkStadt’ originated as part of the NUCLEUS project at the Faculty of Technology and Bionics at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. The project examines communication management within institutionalised academia and aims to foster a new understanding within universities and other academic institutions regarding communication, learning and exchange with members of the wider community.
The next ‘DenkWerkStadt’ event, on 24 January 2019 from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm, will focus on the topic ‘Heat, drought, heavy rain – how is climate change affecting our city?’
What impact is climate change having on our city? Will we have to live with phenomena such as drought, heat, heavy rain and flooding in the future? What can we all do together to ensure our cities remain liveable? And does science hold the answers for the future? These are some of the questions that the speakers, together with the participants, aim to explore in depth.
