On 26 June, the Central Student Advisory Service, in collaboration with the Career Service, is organising an event on study options following completion of a Bachelor’s degree at the Kleve campus.
Master’s or not? This is a question many Bachelor’s students and graduates ask themselves. To help them make this decision, the Central Student Advisory Service at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, in collaboration with the Career Service, has organised the event ‘Master for me?’.
The event focuses primarily on the advantages a Master’s degree offers in the job market, the entry requirements, helping participants identify which programme best suits their own aspirations, and the range of eleven Master’s programmes available at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. Visitors can look forward to an afternoon packed with talks and information about the Master’s programmes on offer, as well as important advice on deciding whether and when a Master’s degree is the right choice. “A bachelor’s degree already provides excellent entry opportunities in many fields. In certain professional sectors, however, a Master’s degree is absolutely essential. Decisions regarding one’s academic career path should therefore be made on a purely individual basis,” says Imke Hans from the Career Service of the Faculty of Society and Economics.
The talks and information sessions will be held in both German and English. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to speak with experts from the individual degree programmes.
The ‘Master for me?’ event will take place on 26 June 2019 at 3.00 pm on the Kleve campus, Marie-Curie-Straße 1, in Building 01, on the ground floor.
