Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences’ new merchandising shop is launching and going online straight away. The initial product range includes clothing, cotton bags, stationery and gift items. All of these are available in the university’s signature style. The items can also be purchased in person at various events organised by Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences.
Official university merchandise is now available to buy via the Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences website. A total of 13 items are on offer. Initially, there will be two different styles of hoodies and T-shirts. They are available in women’s and men’s cuts in dark blue, white and grey. In addition, water bottles, takeaway coffee mugs, mugs, key rings, USB sticks, pencils, ballpoint pens, notebooks and cotton bags are available. The clothing will be available both in the so-called ‘college style’ and featuring a modern pictogram based on the university’s logo.
As a certified Fairtrade University, Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences places great importance on sustainability in its own merchandise. For example, the clothing is made from organic cotton, the water bottle is BPA-free and the ballpoint pens are biodegradable, with a compostability rate of 75 per cent.
Shopping is very straightforward. The goods are delivered to the address provided. Payment in the online shop can be made via PayPal, credit card, Sofortüberweisung and direct debit. The goods can also be posted abroad. Anyone who would like to see what the goods look like in person, rather than just online, can take a look at the display cabinets. In Kleve, they are located in Building 01 (Lecture Theatre Centre), Building 04 and Building 20 (Herzogstraße). In Kamp-Lintfort, the display cabinets are housed in Building 01 (Lecture Theatre Centre) and Building 04.
In addition to the online shop, there will also be opportunities to buy merchandise on site at selected events organised by Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences. The stalls will be set up for the first time during the campus festivals in Kleve on 25 May 2019 and in Kamp-Lintfort on 15 June 2019, as well as at the graduation ceremonies. When purchasing on site, payment can be made by debit card or in cash.
