Once again this year, the university is actively taking part in Germany’s largest campaign to promote entrepreneurship and the start-up spirit: Start-up Week Germany will take place from 18 to 24 November 2019.
The Centre for Research, Innovation and Transfer at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences (ZFIT) is offering a comprehensive programme of events on topics such as entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity as part of the Lower Rhine Innovation and Start-up Initiative (IGNI) project. Academic staff and professors from the university were also involved in designing the programme. The interactive workshops cover a broad range of topics, including start-up coaching, the development of business models with limited capital, and personal development for entrepreneurs. Among other things, the programme includes two start-up coaching sessions (on 18 and 19 November 2019), workshops on the topics ‘How do I develop a responsible business?’ and ‘Social media strategies for start-ups’ (both on 20 November 2019), as well as the interactive ‘Pressure Cooker Day’ (on 22 November 2019).
Creative minds and those interested in setting up a business will not only have the opportunity to gain new experiences and fresh inspiration. Through individual advisory sessions, participants can present their ideas, thereby setting their start-up phase on a path to success. The workshops are open to students and research staff, as well as members of the public who are interested. Please register by email by 13 November 2019 at innovation@hochschule-rhein-waal.de.
