The university is once again running its “Locals4Students” mentoring programme this summer term. An information session will take place on 18 June 2019 at 6.00 pm on the Kamp-Lintfort campus, to give participants the chance to get to know one another and exchange ideas.
We are once again looking for mentors or ‘locals’ (residents) who would like to help students feel at home in their new surroundings. Students from abroad, in particular, look forward to this kind of support, as language and cultural differences often present a challenge for them.
However, it is entirely up to the mentors themselves to decide what they can and wish to offer in their role as advisers. Both the students and the university are grateful for any kind of support.
To give everyone a chance to get to know one another and exchange ideas, an information event will take place on 18 June 2019 at 6.00 pm on the Kamp-Lintfort campus of Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Friedrich-Heinrich-Allee 25, 47475 Kamp-Lintfort, in the canteen, Building 04, ground floor. Admission is free. Registrations can be made via the email address locals4students@hochschule-rhein-waal.de. Refreshments will be provided.
