Drei Studierende lernen gemeinsam im Gruppenarbeitsraum der Bibliothek Kamp-Lintfort

New room booking tool from September

On Tuesday, 1 September 2026, the library will switch to a new online system for booking study rooms and services.

As bookings from the current system cannot be transferred, all reservations for individual study rooms will expire on 31 August and bookings for group study rooms will be temporarily suspended.

The ‘anny’ booking tool enables more flexible reservations and provides a better overview of individual and group study rooms. Use the flex booking option for periods ranging from 30 minutes to 6 hours, or the day booking option for yourself or your study group, depending on the study room. Individual study rooms and parent-child rooms can also be booked on a weekly basis under certain conditions.

Anny is available via the link anny.eu/home or as an app. To make a booking, log in using your university ID and check out the overview of available options under ‘Explore’. You can reserve rooms 2 weeks in advance, or 30 days in advance for weekly bookings.

Important: Always pay close attention to the booking time, as ‘anny’ operates on a check-in and check-out system. Once you have reserved a room, you must check in within 30 minutes; otherwise, your booking will be cancelled and the room will be made available to others again. If you leave early, you should check out to make the room available to others. Otherwise, please be fair and cancel your room booking if you find you can’t make it to the library.
