Even if you didn’t take part in the first workshop, you’re very welcome to join us! The follow-up workshop has been deliberately designed to be open to all, providing a low-threshold entry point for anyone interested in sustainability and the implementation of the SDGs in a higher education context.
How can the ideas developed in the first workshop be further refined, made more concrete and integrated sustainably into everyday university life? And how can we succeed in taking collective action – even beyond individual initiatives?
In this second, follow-up workshop, we’ll build on the measures already identified: we’ll reflect on them, prioritise them and develop them further – with the aim of ensuring their implementation is both realistic and effective. At the same time, the event provides space for new perspectives and additional ideas, so that all participants can get actively involved and help shape the process – regardless of whether they attended the first session or not.
The focus is on:
- the joint evaluation and further development of existing measures
- the development of new, concrete approaches
- the question of how sustainable changes can be structurally embedded
- sharing experiences, challenges and success factors
We continue to use the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as our guiding framework and employ, amongst other things, the ‘green handprint’ approach to highlight individual and institutional potential for impact.
The event is aimed at students and staff at universities and other educational institutions.
