Under the title ‘University–Business Transfer Meeting’, representatives from the regional business community are invited to the Faculty of Society and Economics on Thursday 29 September at 4.30 pm.
Kleve/Kamp-Lintfort, 23 September 2016: Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences attaches great importance to engaging with regional businesses, associations and organisations. “As a university of applied sciences, we aim to promote the transfer of knowledge in order to address issues facing business and society and to develop solutions in partnership with our partners. At the same time, we want to translate the latest research findings into innovations. We want to make our specialist expertise available to our partners through our academic staff and graduates, as well as through our excellent technical facilities,” says the President of the Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences, on whose initiative the series of events is being launched.
The series of events begins with a presentation by the Faculty of Society and Economics as part of the first ‘University–Business Transfer Meeting’. Drawing on current projects, members of the university will present various examples of collaboration between the university and the business sector within the Faculty of Society and Economics and outline avenues for potential cooperation. Furthermore, the faculty will inform representatives of the regional business community about the degree programmes on offer and the knowledge and skills that graduates bring to the table as qualified professionals. Finally, visitors will be shown the modern laboratories and their potential applications.
The event will take place at the Faculty of Society and Economics on the Kleve campus of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Building 2, Faculty Council, Room 02 01 015, Marie-Curie-Str. 1, 47533 Kleve.
