The next session of the Wednesday Academy, ‘Projects à la carte: Presentation of the best student projects by the City of Kleve’s Equal Opportunities Officer’, will take place on 8 November 2017 at 6.00 pm in room 02 01 017. The speaker will be Ms Tertilte-Rübo, Equal Opportunities Officer for the City of Kleve, together with students from the Gender and Diversity (BA) degree programme.
On 25 April 2017, the town of Kleve will celebrate its 775th anniversary. This event forms part of a year of celebrations in which the Faculty of Society and Economics at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences is taking part. This year’s programme for the Wednesday Academy therefore combines current developments in the town with lectures on its history.
Alongside academics from the faculty, external speakers have been invited to deliver and discuss themed talks on the town on the Lower Rhine. Theory and practice are brought together.
A four-course menu will be served, beginning with ‘Elephant’s Shoe’, followed by ‘Prinzenbällchen in Frauenhand’ and ‘Action Food against Racism’, and concluding with a dessert of tolerance, accompanied by singers in the style of Nina Simone.
The open, free lectures in this series are aimed at the general public, as well as at students, lecturers and staff at Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences.
No advance registration is required.
The Faculty of Society and Economics looks forward to welcoming you.
