The Examination Board of the Faculty of Society and Economics at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences (HSRW) plays a central role in the organisation and supervision of examination matters. Its responsibilities include ensuring compliance with Examination regulations, recognising academic achievements, organising work placements and Semesters abroad, and overseeing the completion of final theses. It is also responsible for arranging access to examination papers and handling appeals against examination decisions.
The Examination Board comprises various members, including professors, Research Associates and students.

Recognition of academic achievements
Equivalent qualifications obtained as part of another degree programme or vocational training may, under certain circumstances, be recognised for your studies at the Faculty of Society and Economics at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. Work placement or semester abroad
As a rule, students on all Bachelor’s degree programmes at the Faculty of Society and Economics, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, are required to complete a 20-week work placement or Semester abroad in the sixth semester of study. Further information on registration is available online.
Exam insights
Once your Written examinations results have been announced, you will have the opportunity to view your Written examinations. As a student of the Faculty of Society and Economics, you will be informed of the dates by email, or you can access this information via the Moodle learning platform.
