Your interests come first
The Staff Council represents the interests of employees in accordance with the North Rhine-Westphalia State Staff Representation Act (LPVG). We ensure that laws, collective agreements, service agreements and other regulations are complied with. In doing so, we are committed to fair working conditions and the protection of all employees.
All measures are agreed upon by the entire Staff Council during its weekly meetings.
We’re here for you
As the Staff Council, we have rights of co-determination, participation and consultation, as well as rights to information. These enable us, amongst other things, to be involved in personnel matters, for example, in relation to recruitment, pay grading, transfers and redeployments, amendments to employment contracts, dismissals, the design and modification of workstations, work organisation and working time arrangements.
In addition,
- we receive suggestions, queries and complaints,
- provide support in cases of conflict and problems,
- promote measures for the common good,
- and help shape occupational health and safety and accident prevention measures.
