Student societies

Student societies are voluntary associations of currently enrolled students at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, as well as former students of the university, provided they are members within the meaning of Section 13d of the University’s Constitution.

Guideline

The Executive Board has issued the guidelines on the registration of student associations in the register at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences dated 25 April 2023, in accordance with Section 16(1), sentences 1 and 2 of the Higher Education Act (HG), which regulate and facilitate the formation of student associations.

Application & Model Statutes

You may submit an application for registration in the register at any time, either in writing or electronically, to the Legal Affairs Office within the Department of Legal and Academic Affairs. Please use the application form and enclose the supplementary documents listed. A model constitution is available to assist you in founding a student association. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact the Legal Affairs Office.
