Germany Ticket
Once your enrolment is complete, you’ll receive an email containing all the important information about the Deutschlandticket. Please check your inbox regularly (and your spam folder if necessary). You use the Deutschlandticket via a Niag app using a QR code, as there is no physical chip card. The email contains instructions on how to install the app, log in and activate your ticket.
If you have any questions or cannot find the email, please contact Student Services; if you have problems with the Niag app, please contact NIAG directly, for example by visiting one of their customer service centres.
Student ID card
Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences does not issue student ID cards. However, you can easily download proof of your student status at any time from the HISinOne system in the form of a Proof of enrolment. This means you always have a digital copy to hand or can simply print it out if needed.
Freshers’ Day is the perfect start for anyone beginning their studies in the Summer semester. On this day, you’ll get to know your faculty, your Degree programme and key facilities at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. Information sessions and initial meetings with fellow students will help you settle in quickly.
Freshers’ Day 2026 will take place on 27 March.
