Photography and filming
A filming permit for marketing purposes is issued by the President of the university and must be requested via the Office of Marketing and Communications. To do this, you will need to provide some basic details in your application.

Please note that campus security carries out checks on the relevant campus and verifies whether a permit has been granted. If no permit has been issued, your project may be prohibited by campus security.

Drone flights
A flight and filming permit for marketing activities is issued by the President of the University and must be requested via the Office of Marketing and Communications. To do this, you will need to provide basic details and supporting documents as part of your application:
- A2 remote pilot certificate
- Aircraft third-party liability insurance + certificate (if applicable)
Please note:
Flying over groups of people or individuals is strictly prohibited. If the drone
- weighing less than 250g, an approach (not a fly-over) would be possible
- Drones weighing up to 4 kg may only be flown at a minimum distance of 30 metres from people; with an EU remote pilot certificate, this distance may be reduced to 5 metres.
If you meet these requirements, please send us the application form and the relevant supporting documents.
Please note that the campus security team carries out checks on the respective campus and verifies authorisation. If no authorisation has been granted, your project may be prohibited by the campus security team.
