Workplaces

The library of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences is a place of learning open to the public with different workplaces where you can read and learn in peace or exchange ideas in a group.

Please help to make the library a pleasant working and learning environment and be considerate of the needs of other users. Eating and drinking is not permitted, with the exception of water in closed containers.

We wish you a pleasant stay!

Workplaces

The library offers a variety of workplaces with and without computers for users, where you can read and study in peace without the need to register. Please note that these are individual workplaces and working in groups is not possible here.

We would like to offer a workplace to as many users as possible. Therefore, we ask you to vacate your workplace if you need a longer break. In times of increased workspace demand, library staff will clear abandoned workplaces if they remain unused for more than 15 minutes.

Group Study Rooms

Bookable group study rooms for up to 10 people in Kleve and up to 6 people in Kamp-Lintfort enable students of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences to work together undisturbed.

Reservations are not required for the use of the group study rooms, but are recommended due to the high frequency of use! When using the group study rooms, priority is always given to those who can show a reservation confirmation!

Reserving a group study room is done via an online booking for the respective location. You can reserve one or more of the available time slots online for your group if you have a library card. You are the contact person for the library and would be liable for any damage caused by the members of the group.

Stay fair and only book a room if you will actually use it! Please cancel the booking of the group study room if you cannot use it after all. To do so, simply click on the cancellation link in your confirmation email.

If the requested time slot is already reserved, you can join the waiting list and receive information if the booking has been cancelled. If a room is reserved but no group is present, you can use the room until the group arrives. In consultation with each other on site, two small groups can also use one room, as long as the number of 10 people in Kleve and 6 people in Kamp-Lintfort is not exceeded.

The furniture of the group study room may not be changed or supplemented by other library furniture without the consent of the library staff.
