Medium not on site? Have all items been borrowed?

You can use the Katalog PLUS to

  • order media from the other campus free of charge if there are no items available on your own campus. After a transfer time of a few days, the item will be made available to you on the pick-up shelf.
  • reserve borrowed media free of charge. The reserved item with the shortest loan period can no longer be renewed and will be made available to you on the pick-up shelf after its return and a short processing time. 
  • order special items and CD-ROMs/DVDs free of charge. After a short processing time, the item will be made available for you to borrow from the information desk. Borrowing is only possible during service hours.

You will be informed by e-mail as soon as the medium has been made available. You then have 10 days to pick up the item.

In Kleve, the information desk and the pick-up shelf are located on the 2nd floor. In Kamp-Lintfort, you will find the information desk opposite the entrance door and the pick-up shelf if you turn right from there and walk straight ahead. 

The items on the pick-up shelf are organised by library card number. You can take the medium from the shelf yourself and borrow it from the self-checkout machine.


Is a title missing from the library's collection?

You can either request it for purchase or order it via interlibrary loan for €1.50 via Katalog PLUS. Interlibrary loans can be collected from the information desk during service hours. Further information on interlibrary loans can be found here and in our FAQ.
