The music programme at Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences is undergoing a reorganisation. At the beginning of December this year, Marco van Heys, a state-certified breathing, speech and voice coach as well as a sound engineer, took over the coordination of the university’s music programme. Van Heys has a well-established network within the local and international music scene, which he can utilise to create valuable synergies in the region. Furthermore, as a native of the Lower Rhine region, he has successfully run Van Heys Studios in Kleve for almost twenty years, establishing him as a true expert in the planning and execution of musical projects and events. The fact that his love of music is not confined to any one style fits in well with the university’s international profile and its musical diversity.
