Wednesday Academy: Next lecture on 20 November 2019
This presentation sets out the findings of a survey carried out as part of a collaborative project between Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences and the City of Kleve. In their presentation, Professor Dr Ingrid Jungwirth, Professor of Social Sciences specialising in diversity and inclusion, and Claudia-Livia Balan, research assistant on the Bachelor’s programme in Gender and Diversity, will provide insights into local residents’ attitudes towards living together in the neighbourhood and into the social circumstances of different social groups within the neighbourhood.
The lecture will take place on 20 November 2019 at 6.00 pm on the Kleve Campus, Marie-Curie-Straße 1, in Building 2, Room 02 01 017 (Seminar Room 5).
As part of the Wednesday Academy, topical issues are presented in an engaging manner by speakers from academia and professional practice, examined from a theoretical perspective and discussed in a large group setting. The lecture series is aimed primarily at the general public, but also at students and teaching staff at the university. Attendance is free of charge and no prior registration is required.
