During the ‘Study Orientation Weeks’ at Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences, all interested school pupils have the opportunity to find out about the range of degree programmes on offer and what student life is like. Four faculties and the Student Service Centre at the two campuses in Kleve and Kamp-Lintfort offer a glimpse into university life, provide personalised study guidance, run study orientation workshops and guided tours, showcase various career paths, and help pupils decide which degree programme is right for them. For the first time, Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences is also organising a parents’ information evening as part of the ‘Study Orientation Weeks’, where parents can find out about applications, admissions and enrolment, as well as receiving useful tips and advice on how to support their children in choosing a degree programme.
The ‘Study Orientation Weeks’ were launched as a joint initiative by the Ministry of Science, the Ministry of Education, the North Rhine-Westphalia Regional Directorate of the Federal Employment Agency and the universities in North Rhine-Westphalia.
