Under the academic supervision of Dr Christian Ressel, Professor of Ambient Intelligent Systems at the Faculty of Communication and Environment, the project partners are developing an intuitive navigation system designed to make it easier for people with cognitive or physical impairments to use buses and trains.

The Mobile project supports people with cognitive or physical disabilities in using public transport. The project provides this group with seamless, smartphone-based navigation. This adapts not only to the current traffic situation but, above all, to individual requirements. The system therefore provides the user with a journey plan that takes their individual limitations into account. The system is designed to guide the traveller whilst using public transport and, for example, to provide assistance when changing between modes of transport.
