The Faculty of Society and Economics at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences is delighted to have taken on its first in-house trainee. On 1 March, Jessica Strobel, a former trainee at the Faculty of Society and Economics, began her new role as Dean’s Secretary.
Kleve/Kamp-Lintfort, 28 April 2015: The Faculty of Society and Economics at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences is not only an educational institution for students from over 100 different countries; it also trains young people for a wide variety of vocational roles. Jessica Strobel is now the first of three apprentices at the faculty to have successfully completed her vocational training.
Jessica Strobel began her apprenticeship as an office administration assistant on 1 August 2012 in the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Society and Economics at the Kleve campus of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. During her training, in addition to secretarial and administrative duties, she learnt how to coordinate appointments, prepare for meetings and carry out business tasks in areas such as accounts and human resources.
After passing her examination, she was taken on as a dean’s office secretary with effect from 1 March. “I really enjoyed my apprenticeship at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences,” says Jessica Strobel happily. “I’m delighted to be able to continue working at the faculty.”
