Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences was once again represented this year at the “European Higher Education Fair Indonesia 2016 (EHEF)” in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences was once again represented at the “European Higher Education Fair Indonesia 2016 (EHEF)” in Jakarta, Indonesia, on 5 and 6 November 2016. Around 125 higher education institutions from 14 EU member states took part as exhibitors, and around 10,000 people attended the fair.Many interested school pupils and students, as well as their parents, sought information about the range of courses on offer at Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences from Prof. Dr Matthias Kleinke, Dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences, and Prof. Dr Ronny Hartanto, Professor of Technical Informatics at the Faculty of Technology and Bionics. There was a great deal of interest in the English-taught Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes – the opportunity to complete these in Germany sparked particular interest amongst fair visitors at Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences.
Currently, around 4,400 Indonesian students are enrolled at German universities; at Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences, there were 30 students in the 2015/2016 academic year.
Once again, the university was able to rely on the special support provided by GATE-Germany in organising its participation in the fair. GATE-Germany is a joint consortium of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK), which, amongst other things, helps to ensure that Germany remains an attractive and competitive international centre of academic excellence in the medium and long term.
