At last! After years of study and following several semesters spent away from campus due to the pandemic, the graduates of the Faculty of Life Sciences and the Faculty of Technology and Bionics celebrated their success together in person.
Prof. Dr Peter Simon (left) and Prof. Dr William Megill (right) presided over the ceremony in the university’s Audimax. Prof. Dr Peter Kister, Vice-President for Research, Innovation and Transfer, congratulated the graduates on behalf of the university’s executive committee. Prof. Dr Peter Scholz, Dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences, and Prof. Dr Dirk Nissing, Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Bionics, presented the certificates.
Prof. Dr Dirk Bockmühl (right), Prof. Dr Matthias Krauledat (left) and Prof. Dr Niels Ostergaard (centre) provided live musical accompaniment for the event.
After the ceremony, the graduates gathered outside the Audimax with family and friends to celebrate this milestone with a glass of champagne. And, of course, to take the traditional group photograph!
