Bridge courses and timetables

Dear students,

In preparation for the 2022/23 winter term, the following on-campus bridging courses will be offered from 5 September 2022 to 16 September 2022:

This year, we are offering Mathematics as a digital Moodle course; you can find the course here. To take this course, you must log in to Moodle; you can find information on how to register here.

Bridging courses

What is a bridging course?

The faculty’s bridging courses offer first-year students the chance to refresh and revise their knowledge of core subjects. At the same time, they provide an opportunity to make initial contacts with fellow students and get to know the campus.

Make the most of this opportunity to get a first impression of your new university and of studying in English! The bridging courses will also help you identify which subject areas you need to catch up on and in which areas you can look forward to the upcoming lectures with confidence. By attending the courses, you’ll also gain an initial understanding of the prior knowledge expected of you, which will be essential for the lectures. Prepare yourself as well as possible for the start of your degree and attend the bridging courses offered by your department.

Please note that these courses do not replace any entry requirements.

Nevertheless, we would particularly like to recommend these preparatory courses to our international students, as prior educational backgrounds can vary greatly.

Our programme
