At the graduation ceremony for the Faculties of Technology and Bionics and Life Sciences, Jigar Ashokbhai Desai received the Graduates’ Award from the Friends of Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences e.V. for his Master’s degree; the award was presented by the Chair, Eva Folkerts.
Eva Folkerts emphasised that Jigar Ashokbhai Desai, with his Master’s thesis entitled “Design and Optimisation of H₂ Purification Systems: Minimising Energy Consumption, H₂ Losses, and Investment Costs through Thermodynamic Modelling and P&ID Development for Efficient Removal of H₂O and Other Contaminants”, which was produced in collaboration with the company Peer Energy from Geldern, had not only produced a thesis of exceptional quality but had also contributed to regional knowledge transfer.
Once a semester, the Friends’ Association honours the best graduation thesis at the Faculty of Technology and Bionics. The prize-winners impress not only with their above-average grades but also through their collaboration with regional companies.
