They’ve done it! The graduates from the Faculties of Life Sciences and Technology and Bionics celebrated their successful completion of their studies together. They received their Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees during the festive graduation ceremony in the Audimax.
The two presenters, Prof. Dr Peter Simon (left) and Prof. Dr William Megill, hosted the evening.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter Kisters, Vice-President for Research, Innovation and Transfer, offered his congratulations on behalf of the Executive Board.
The two Deans, Prof. Dr Peter Scholz (left) and Prof. Dr-Ing Dirk Nissing, invited the graduates to stay in touch with their professors: “We’re not saying goodbye, we’re saying see you soon”.
The band Orange Green, made up of professors and research staff from both faculties, provided a mix of folk and rock music in the well-attended Audimax between the speeches and the presentation of certificates.
Lisa Waberg, coordinator of the alumni network, together with Shingirai Matsveru, encouraged the graduates to network through an entertaining quiz. Björn Flockau drew plenty of laughter with his talk on memories in general and those of the graduates in particular.
