Janine Bayer, a synestete herself, summarises the current state of research on this psychological phenomenon, explains what synesthesia is and how colourful words look to her. The 64 pages of her thread bound, digitally printed book include illustrations, photography and of course typography, to show how her head paints letters in colours.
