On 31 May 2017, the Children’s University at Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences will enter its next phase. Marc Kohlen, a research assistant at Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences’ 3D Competence Centre, will give a lecture on waves of all kinds, tailored to children’s understanding.
We are surrounded by waves. Some waves are visible, others are not. Waves have been harnessed and utilised since the dawn of humanity. In most cases, this happens unconsciously, as they are invisible.
In this Children’s University lecture, Marc Kohlen works with the children to make these waves visible. What do such waves look like? How can we use them? By the end of the lecture, one thing will be clear: nothing works without waves.
