With the Open Days at the Kleve and Kamp-Lintfort campuses, Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences invites all interested parties to visit the university grounds. The Kamp-Lintfort Campus will open its doors on 13 May 2017 from 11 am to 5 pm to school pupils, friends and supporters of Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences, as well as any members of the public who are interested. The Kleve campus will welcome visitors a week later, on 20 May 2017 from 11 am to 4 pm. A visit to the Open Day is well worth it, not only to gain an insight into the university’s facilities. Various activities and hands-on exercises will be on offer in the laboratories, ensuring there is something for everyone.
A varied programme for young and old alike awaits all those interested. The university will showcase its faculties, its range of degree programmes and its research. Lecturers will present the current degree programmes in short talks. Staff from the Student Advisory Service will answer questions on all matters relating to studying at Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences. Everyone can get a taste of university life, take a look at the lecture theatres, canteen, technical halls, laboratories, library or the language centre, and discover what else the university has to offer. For the little ones, there will be exciting experiments and excursions on the respective campuses.
Once again, Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences’ Open Day at the Kleve campus will take place alongside the City of Kleve’s Schwanenritter Race on the Spoy Canal – an event for the whole family, now in its fifth year. Inspired by the legend of the Swan Knights, twelve different teams will once again be challenged to build their own boats from the materials provided, before competing in the race along the Spoy Canal.
