Speed dating at Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences

During the speed-dating event, the companies got to know lots of students and, perhaps, some potential interns as well.

Young professionals are also in high demand in the Lower Rhine region. With over 6,500 students across numerous departments, Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences offers enormous potential for businesses in the region. The ‘intern speed-dating’ event gives students the opportunity to introduce themselves to as many interesting companies as possible in a very short space of time. Company representatives and students got to know one another during a total of 108 one-to-one sessions as part of the speed-dating event.

One of the 14 companies looking to meet potential young talent at the speed-dating event on the Kleve campus was ISIS IC GmbH. ISIS IC GmbH is an IT service provider based in Wesel and is constantly on the lookout for young talent with fresh ideas: “We work extensively with international partners; currently, for example, on a cross-border development project exploring potential applications for drones,” explains Managing Director Dirk Unsenos. The entrepreneur has taken part in the speed-dating event several times before and is particularly impressed this year by the calibre of the applicants: “Some candidates are a perfect fit for our areas of operation. I will now assess the applicants and follow up with them individually. I am confident that we will soon be able to welcome one of the candidates to our company.”
