A museum visit with creative results: the 7th Sunday Salon at the B.C. Koekkoek House

This coming Sunday, the 7th Sunday Salon will take place at the B.C. Koekkoek House. Students from the Creative Writing Workshop at the Faculty of Society and Economics, led by Renate Schmitz-Gebel, will read from their own writing.

At the Winter Salon at the B.C. Koekkoek House, students from the Creative Writing Workshop at the Faculty of Society and Economics at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, led by lecturer Renate Schmitz-Gebel, will be reading from their own writings. These pieces were inspired by the artworks in the collection on the theme of Nature.Landscape.Writing and offer exciting new perspectives. Anyone keen to find out more is warmly invited to listen to these imaginative verbal paintings and the musical accompaniment on the grand piano.  As befits a proper salon, the morning will draw to a close with a discussion over coffee, tea and pastries in the house’s atmospheric setting.

The 7th Sunday Salon will take place on 2 February 2020 from 11.30 am to 1.00 pm at the B.C. Koekkoek House. The event is organised by Rhein Waal University of Applied Sciences, the Adult Education Centre and the B.C. Koekkoek House. Admission costs €5.00, or €2.50 at the box office (including museum entry).
