As part of the Children’s University at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, the third lecture on 20 June 2018 will focus on the topic ‘It’s incredible what 3D printers can do’.
3D printers are truly versatile: clothes, prosthetics, cars, houses – they can print almost anything. The development of 3D printing is advancing at a rapid pace, and the visions for the future of this technology are bold. More and more materials can be printed, and at ever-increasing speeds and with ever-improving quality. Thomas Kropp, a research assistant at the FabLab Kamp-Lintfort at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, will show the young audience exactly what is possible with a 3D printer.
The event will take place on 20 June 2018 from 5.15 pm to 6.00 pm at the Kamp-Lintfort campus of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Friedrich-Heinrich-Allee 25, in Building 1, in the Audimax lecture theatre. Admission is free and no registration is required.
