In their joint presentation on 6 June, Professor Dr Ingrid Jungwirth and Claudia-Livia Balan will present a study carried out in collaboration with the City of Kleve on the topic of ‘Neighbourhood development in Kleve’.
The following questions were examined: How do residents of the pilot neighbourhood under study in Kleve’s Oberstadt view their living situation? How satisfied are they with their overall quality of life and local amenities? How do they rate community life in the neighbourhood? The speakers will provide an insight into the findings and discuss potential areas for action in future local planning and neighbourhood development.
The lecture will take place on 6 June 2018 at 6.00 pm on the Kleve Campus, Marie-Curie-Straße 1, in Building 02, Room 02 01 017 (Seminar Room 5).
The programme of the Wednesday Academy at the Faculty of Society and Economics not only covers fascinating topics but also reflects the faculty’s thematic and interdisciplinary diversity. Current issues are presented clearly by speakers from academia and professional practice, examined from a theoretical perspective and discussed in a large group setting. The lecture series is aimed primarily at the general public, but also at students and teaching staff at the university. Attendance is free of charge and no prior registration is required.
