In his presentation, Christian Knuffmann, an expert on business succession in small and medium-sized enterprises, examines the challenges of generational succession in a (family) business or the use of an external succession solution.
Both situations often mark a critical phase when a lifetime’s work is to be handed over to new hands. In such a case, what does effective preparation for the next generation look like? How can the transition within the family take place without conflict? What needs to be borne in mind? These are many questions to which Knuffmann, as an experienced entrepreneur and adviser to medium-sized family-run businesses, can provide answers.
The lecture will take place on 4 July 2018 at 6.00 pm on the Kleve Campus, Marie-Curie-Straße 1, in Building 02, Room 02 01 017 (Seminar Room 5).
