The ‘Study Orientation Weeks’, running from 22 January to 1 February 2018, offer a wealth of information to help prospective students and their parents find their way and clarify their own goals at an early stage. The application period for Master’s programmes in the coming summer term has now begun.
The application period for Master’s programmes for the 2018 summer semester is currently open. Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences has opened its application portal for this purpose: applications for Master’s programmes can be submitted online until 15 January 2018. The Central Student Advisory Service is the point of contact for all applicants who have any questions.
However, for prospective students who are still in the early stages of deciding whether – and, if so, which – degree programme is right for them, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences is organising the ‘Study Orientation Weeks’ from 22 January to 1 February 2018. During this time, anyone interested will have the opportunity to find out about the range of degree programmes on offer and what student life is like. All four faculties and the Central Student Advisory Service at the two campuses in Kleve and Kamp-Lintfort will be offering an insight into the university during this period: amongst other things, they will be hosting interdisciplinary and programme-specific events, as well as a ‘get-to-know-us’ afternoon. They will outline various career paths and help prospective students decide which degree programme is right for them. In addition, there will be an information evening for parents and guardians. They will receive information on applications, admission and enrolment, as well as useful tips and advice on how they can support their children in choosing a degree programme.
The ‘Study Orientation Weeks’ were launched as a joint initiative by the Ministry of Science, the Ministry of Education, the Regional Directorate of North Rhine-Westphalia, the Federal Employment Agency and the universities in North Rhine-Westphalia.
