The Faculties of Society and Economics and of Communication and the Environment are holding graduation ceremonies


At the end of October, 54 graduates will celebrate their graduation with the university at the Faculty of Communication and Environment in Kamp-Lintfort, and in mid-November, the Faculty of Society and Economics will celebrate the graduation of 80 graduates with their families and friends in Kleve.

At the end of October, 52 graduates will celebrate their graduation together with the university in Kamp-Lintfort. At the graduation ceremony for the Faculty of Communication and Environment, Sarah Krom from the International Business Administration programme will receive the Zonta Student Award 2022 for her outstanding academic achievements and her social commitment. In addition, the Campus Camp-Lintfort Friends’ Association presents awards to ‘the best of the best’ – a total of 16 graduates are recognised for their achievements. The Friends of Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences e.V. presents five Altana sponsorship awards to outstanding graduates.

In mid-November, the Faculty of Society and Economics will celebrate the graduation of 80 graduates together with their families and friends. Prof. Dr Thomas Pitz provided musical entertainment on the grand piano, including one of his own compositions. In his speech, the Dean, Prof. Dr Ralf Klapdor, thanked the graduates: “Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences and the Faculty of Society and Economics are proud of you!” Speaking on behalf of the Executive Board, Prof. Dr Tatiana Zimenkova, Vice-President for International Affairs and Diversity, addressed the graduates and everyone present. The Faculty also honoured its top Bachelor’s and Master’s graduates: Zoe Schmidt from the Bachelor’s programme in International Relations and Niklas Nau from the Master’s programme in Sustainable Development Management.
