Order & Reserve

You can order items from another campus if there are no copies available on your own campus. After a few days’ processing time, the item will be placed on the collection shelf for you.

If all copies of a title are currently on loan, you can place a hold on it. The copy with the shortest remaining loan period cannot be renewed and will be made available for you to collect from the collection shelf once it has been returned and processed.

Media in special formats, CD-ROMs/DVDs and items from the Library of Things are not freely accessible and must be borrowed via the library’s information desk. To ensure a speedy collection, you can order these items in advance via the PLUS catalogue. After a short processing time, the item will be made available for you to borrow at the information desk.

Once the item has been made available, you will be notified by email. From that point, you have 10 days to collect the item from the library.

In Kleve, the information desk and the collection shelf are on the 2nd floor. In Kamp-Lintfort, you will find the information desk opposite the entrance door and the collection shelf on the first shelf on the left-hand side.

Items are arranged on the collection shelf in order of library card number. You can take the item from the shelf yourself and borrow it at the self-check-out machine.

Is there a title missing from the library’s collection? You can either suggest it for purchase using the form on the website or order it via interlibrary loan for €1.50 through the PLUS catalogue. You can collect interlibrary loan orders that have been processed from the information desk.
