Library of Things

You can choose from toolboxes, outdoor games and sports equipment – items you might not need very often, which may be too expensive to buy, or which you might simply like to try out.

With every loan, the library and its users will thus contribute to resource-efficient and environmentally conscious consumption and act in the spirit of a ‘sharing economy’.

You can find an overview of all items available for loan on site or in the PLUS catalogue under the keyword or menu item “Library of Things”.

You will need a valid library card to borrow items. The loan period is usually 14 days. You may renew the loan once, provided the item has not been reserved by another user.

To borrow or return items, please speak to the library staff at the information desk. You can also collect reserved and held items there.

Please ensure that items are returned undamaged, clean and dry. The library staff will only accept items back at the information desk subject to verification and may only be able to check whether they are in working order at a later date. Should anything be amiss, the library staff will contact you.
