Caring for family members

The need for care of a relative poses particular challenges to the reconciliation of work / study and everyday organization. If family members can (suddenly) no longer look after themselves, there are thousand questions – and just as many contacts.

The Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences offers advice and support from the consultancy company benefit@work for students and employees with care responsibilities or if they would like to make provisions for themselves.

The access PIN for the service portal for university members can be obtained from the Family Service / Equal Opportunities Team of the HSRW. Please send an email to familienservice@hochschule-rhein-waal.de.



When you log in for the first time, you can create your own account in the service portal, where you can find a lot of informations and downloads. 

With our new service from benefit@work we would like to support you from now on in reconciling work / study and care. With their quality-tested consultants, benefit@work supports with individual and professional consultation on matters relating to the care of relatives. Or do you want to make provisions for yourself? Your can receive expert advice on the subjects of healthcare proxy („Vorsorgevollmacht“), patient decree and care directive.
