Kleve: Introduction of Collab Spaces

To promote collaboration among students, the library in Kleve offers Collab Spaces for open student work. These are located in the work room on the ground floor and in the reading room on the 2nd floor. Feel free to use the flexible environment of the Collab Spaces to study together, discuss course content and exchange ideas. Food and drink are allowed within reasonable limits. We ask that you be considerate of others when using these spaces.

On the 2nd floor, you will now find a notice board with further information about the library's redesign. Please feel free to send us your suggestions and feedback! With the Collab Spaces, the library aims to create space for smaller working groups, as the group study rooms are to be reserved for groups of five or more people. Quiet study is still possible on floors 3 to 6.

In Kamp-Lintfort, a large workroom is still available for open student work. However, food and drink are not allowed here.

Kamp-Lintfort: currently no payment possible on site

At present, no on-site payment is possible in Kamp-Lintfort as the EC terminal is out of order. Until a replacement arrives, please use bank transfer to make your payment.

If you are interested in using it, please email bibliothek@hochschule-rhein-waal.de to make an appointment. A mobile table with a screen reader, a laptop and headphones will then be made available to you in a quiet room. If you would like to use books from the library, we will also be happy to provide these on request. If you are using the devices for the first time, we will be happy to give you a brief introduction.
