Feedback on longer opening hours

Your feedback helps us to improve the library's services. For the period in which the long nights take place and the opening hours of the examination period apply, we offer you an online feedback form.

Whenever you visit, let us know at which times you use the library, whether you were able to find a place to work and what you think is going well or badly. Optionally, you can also let us know which training offers you would be interested in in the future. Thank you in advance for your support!

Long Nights in winter semester 2024/25

On Friday, 17 January 2025, and on Friday, 24 January 2025, the library at both locations will remain open until 1 am. You are welcome to use the Long Nights to study in a motivating atmosphere and prepare for the exams!

Our individual and group study rooms can be used until shortly before 1 am. As student assistants are on site, the information desk is staffed until shortly before 1am. Access to the pickup shelf is also available until shortly before 1 am.

Opening hours Examination period winter semester 2024/25

From Monday, 13 January 2025, up to and including Saturday, 15 February 2025, the library in Kleve offers extended opening hours until 10 pm.

In this context, please note the following information:

• Our group study rooms can be reserved and used until 9:45 pm.
• 13 January to 08 February: The information desk is staffed until 9 pm, on Saturdays until 6 pm. Please note the library's service hours. The access to our pickup shelf ends at 9 pm, on Saturdays at 6 pm.
• 10 to 15 February: The information desk is staffed until 3 pm, on Saturdays until 6 pm. Please note the library's service hours. The access to our pickup shelf ends at 3 pm, on Saturdays at 6 pm.

Please note that different times apply for the library in Kamp-Lintfort:

Up to and including Saturday, 08 February 2025, the opening and service hours of the lecture period will continue to apply here. From Monday, 10 February 2025, the opening and service hours of the lecture-free period will apply.

Update e-resource: Contents of Statista database expanded

The scope of the Statista database has been expanded: the database modules Statista Basis (German + international) and Statista Zusatz (Consumer & Company Insights) are now available. The interdisciplinary fact database Statista with a focus on business and consumption contains statistics, reports, consumption analyses, market analyses and forecasts with international coverage.

You can find the database in Katalog PLUS in the ‘Additional Sources’ menu.
