Girls’ Day und Boys’ Day
at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences
The next date for Girls’ Day und Boys’ Day will be in April 2019. As in previous years, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences will be participating with a broad and interesting programme of activities.
Girls’ Day and Boys’ Day is a chance for boys and girls to learn more about careers that are traditionally “un-typical” for their gender. Girls, for example, can learn more about engineering and natural sciences, while boys can explore fields usually dominated by women, such teaching or elderly care. The long-term goal of this initiative is to spark the interest of school-aged children in alternative careers from an early age. It’s also a chance to re-examine gender roles in society and get initial impressions of the labour world for children.
The next scheduled date for Girls’ and Boys’ Day will be published here. Please check back later for more information.
