Start-up Week 2025 at Rhine-Waal University:

From 18–21 November 2025, the Centre for Research, Innovation and Transfer at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences invites you to Start-up Week 2025 as part of the StartGlocal initiative. Four exciting formats are planned: workshop, talk, pitch, and networking event. Students, alumni, staff, and aspiring founders from the region will gain practical insights, useful tools, and the chance to further develop their own start-up ideas and expand their networks.

Start-up Week 2025 at HSRW is part of Start-up Week Niederrhein and the worldwide Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), with more than 40,000 events and millions of participants in around 180 countries.

All events are free of charge and held in English.

Prof. Dr. Marina Gregorić (HSRW) provides hands-on insights into the biggest hurdles of building a start-up brand. Key topics include market research, SWOT analysis, and developing a marketing plan.

Start-up Talk with Revora: Food Infrastructure for Earth and Space

Besan Dahboor Engel, founder and CEO of Revora as well as astronaut candidate, shares her entrepreneurial journey. She will show how carbon-neutral, data-driven food systems can be developed for both Earth and space.

Business Idea Pitch & Poster Session
20.11.2025 | 09:30–12:00 | Campus Kamp-Lintfort
Students of the International Business Administration programme present their business ideas in short pitches and a poster session. An expert jury will provide feedback. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for networking.

Start-up Community Meetup: Alumni Founding Story of Brandilyst
