Before you start your studies, we want to give you all the important information for a perfect start during this year's Freshers' Week.

We are delighted to invite you to the official Semester Opening Ceremony on Monday, 22 September 2025, where you'll get your first real glimpse into student life! Here, you'll meet the key people from the Study Advisory Service and find out about University Sports and University Music. We are also pleased to announce that the President of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Prof Dr Oliver Locker-Grütjen, will personally welcome you .
