Are you a student or graduate of Rhine-Waal University who is curious about startups but doesn’t know where to begin?

Whether you already have an idea or are just exploring entrepreneurship, this workshop will give you a clear and practical starting point.

Starting a business is often overwhelming at the beginning. Too many ideas, too much advice, and no clear direction. This session cuts through the noise and shows you what actually matters in the early stages of building a startup.

In this hands-on workshop, Sina Yazdanfar, founder of YAFARTECH and alumnus of Rhine-Waal University, will share real insights from building and scaling a startup — including mistakes, lessons, and frameworks you can apply immediately.

During the workshop, you will learn:

• how to think like a founder — even without an idea
• how to use your time, energy, and money effectively
• how to avoid common beginner mistakes that cost months or years
• how to build a business that can actually scale (not just stay small)
• the 4 key areas every startup must master: product, finance, marketing, distribution

The workshop includes short inputs and some interactive exercises:

• The Front-Loaded Model — avoid burnout and build for growth
• The 4 Critical Startup Areas — where most beginners fail
