"Fathers of the Lower Rhine": Exhibition on Active Fatherhood in Kempen

Extern

In a society that is constantly evolving, it is crucial to challenge traditional gender roles and create space for new ways of life. This is the aim of the exhibition series "Fathers of the Lower Rhine" by Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, which addresses the theme of private caregiving and highlights the diversity of fatherhood. The eleven portraits, created by university students, showcase a wide range of life paths and encourage viewers to question their own perceptions of gender roles. The exhibition was first opened in April 2024 at the Kamp-Lintfort campus and will now be available from 17th March 2025 at the following locations across Kempen: Town Hall Kempen, Technology Centre, Hospital zum Hl. Geist, AquaSol, GrenzlandFitness and Kempen City Library
