3. TRANSPLANT Day
Where plant research meets practice
On Wednesday, 2 July 2025, the TRANSPLANT project invites you to build a bridge between university research and practical application at the Tropenhaus of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences in Kleve from 13:00. The event is part of the ‘TRANSPLANT DAYS’ series, which promotes the transfer of scientific knowledge to society and the economy.
Under the motto "Engaging farmers to impact society through applied plant research", the focus of this day is on direct exchange to strengthen the societal and economic impact of plant research.
The event is aimed at everyone who wants to help shape the path from a scientific idea to its concrete implementation – whether they are researchers, students, or professionals from agriculture and industry. The TRANSPLANT Day offers the opportunity:
- TO LEARN what research transfer means and how to implement it.
- TO NETWORK and connect your own research with farmers, breeders, start-ups, industry partners, and funders.
- TO MAKE AN IMPACT by discovering ways to maximize the effect of your scientific work.
Program Highlights:
