Equal Opportunities Representatives and Deputy Representatives of the Faculties

Each faculty has its own Equal Opportunities Representative and Deputy Representative. The job of a Faculty Equal Opportunities Representative is to ensure that the respective faculty adheres to the principles and guidelines of equal opportunities legislation with regard to its tasks and duties.

Faculty members are obliged to notify their Equal Opportunities Representative of any issues concerning gender equality in a timely manner. For that reason, the Faculty Equal Opportunities Representative is entitled to participate in the various bodies of the faculty as representatives of the Central Equal Opportunities Representative with the accompanying rights to speak and propose resolutions.

The Deputy Equal Opportunities Representatives of the faculties stand in for the respective Faculty Equal Opportunities Representative in the event of a temporary absence. They also assume responsibility for various functions relating to gender equality within the faculty during this time.
