Let´s talk about sex

Information event for young people on sex and consent

Extern
Radhaus Kleve

On April 19, young people can ask experts their questions without taboos at "Let's talk about sex", 7 p.m. at Radhaus Kleve. Information and activity stands invite to an entertaining exchange on intimate topics. Free admission, snacks, music, and poetry complete the program. Language of the event: German & English

What is okay during sex? How to answer this question depends on many factors. We all have to learn to answer this question for ourselves and in intimate situations with others. When different influences from personal experience, media, or culture are added to the mix, the question demands all the more self-knowledge and empathy from everyone involved.

The key term is Sexual Consent. In practice, however, it much more often means knowing oneself and consciously saying "yes" or "no." During one evening, exactly that will be practiced in an entertaining atmosphere with music and poetry at Radhaus. The equal opportunities office of the city of Kleve and the equal opportunities team of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences invite young people to ask their questions. As experts, Nicole Saat from the AWO counseling center in Kleve and Dr. Bettina Unruh as a gynecologist will answer the questions of those present. Additional information and activity tables invite visitors to practice in playful conversation with appropriate vocabulary so that they can draw on what they have learned in the future. Consultation centers in Kleve introduce themselves so that everyone knows where to find further support and advice.

Without pre-registration, all young people are invited to bring their questions to the Radhaus. Admission to the event is free of charge.
