Information for researchers
Researchers from Ukraine
Researchers from Ukraine are currently receiving help through private channels at HSRW.
The University aims to support Ukrainian researchers who wish to continue their research at our institution. If you have already been in contact with our researchers and you can imagine to continue your research with us at HSRW, please contact us directly at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Philipp Schwartz Initiative of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation
The Philipp Schwartz Initiative offers universities and research institutions in Germany an opportunity to employ at-risk researchers on a full scholarship for 24 months. Application for funding takes place by the host institution.
Researchers from Belarus and Russia
HSRW has suspended all partnerships with these two countries and all financial payments to them have ceased. The resulting implications for researchers in Germany, Belarus and Russia will be looked at on a case-by-case basis.
Critical and persecuted scientists from Russia
Our thoughts are with the students and researchers from Ukraine, but we know that many students and scholars from Russia have also spoken out against the Russian invasion of Ukraine, thus are now politically persecuted and having to leave the country. Our doors are open to these people also. Please contact us at email@example.com if this is your situation and you need support.
Contact requests can be made to the university via firstname.lastname@example.org.
